Know the salted cod wants preparation, namely good “xalmyrisma” to do the day before. So, first cut the cod into pieces. In xalmyrizete for 12 hours in plenty of water which change 3-4 times.

The next day, after you have xalmyrisei, drain the cod and wipe with paper towels. well flour the pieces of cod and fry in a cup of hot olive oil.

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan add the remaining olive oil and fry for 5-6 minutes onion. Pour the remaining vegetables (leek, fennel, cabbage) along with chopped tomatoes. Add a cup of water. Cover and simmer for 35 minutes.

Before completely baked, with a spoon make a little space between the greens and vegetables and pour the fried cod. Not stir at all simply sprinkle with a little pepper and let simmer for 10 more minutes.

Serve the cod warm and good appetite.

Tip: You can replace cod with spotted dogfish.
